John Pleak is a professional freelance artist currently creating work for Topps, Lucasfilm Ltd., Marvel, Disney, Pixar, and Printed In Blood. He also creates his own original artwork for collectors across the globe.
John is a classically trained artist who uses traditional media including pencils, inks, paints, and pastels to create striking and unique compositions on paper and specially prepared surfaces. His imagery reflects his love for popular culture including science fiction films, comic books, music, and sports figures.
John's visual artwork is influenced by late twentieth century Illustration, Surrealism and Pop Art, as well as late twentieth century Manga and Anime.
John is the founder, owner, and manager of ©Beechwood Overdrive, an independent alternative rock music recording label in Indianapolis, IN USA.
